As you may already know, I struggle with acne and am constantly on the lookout for a solution. When the opportunity to try out a skincare product that contains many plant-based ingredients came around, I became very eager to try out the product. Exposed Skincare uses both proven medicine and natural extracts in all of their products, which means there is less hard-to-pronounce junk seeping into your pores. The product I was chosen to test out was the Clarifying Mask.

First, some information about the product from Exposed Skincare:

The Exposed Skincare Clarifying Mask is the perfect compliment to your skincare routine. It combines the power of science with soothing properties of pure natural extracts bring you skin that is not only clear, but also healthy and balanced. Use this mask as a spot treatment for subborn acne or to prevent the development of new blemishes.

The Clarifying Mask includes sulfur and resorcinol, both of which are vital ingredients in the fight against acne breakouts. Resorcinol is effective at preventing comedones (clogged pores) by removing the buildup of dead skin cells. For over half a century, sulfur has shown been to be one of the best acne treatment options by helping remove excess oil from the face and freeing trapped sebum.

Developed by a collaborative effort of dermatologists, cosmetologists, naturopaths, and chemists, Exposed Skin Care is the only product line of its kind.  This combination of professionals working together resulted in a unique and revolutionary skin care approach that not only treats acne, but also proactively prevents new acne from forming. These products have helped countless teens and adults struggling with skin issues.

With other face masks, I found that I had to use a lot of the product and still didn’t get that pore tightening feeling after washing it off. This was not the case the the Clarifying Mask. I used a very thin layer of product to cover my face in the evening before bed. I left the product on for about 15 minutes before washing it off and got the pore-tightening feeling I was looking for. When I woke up the next morning, my skin was not as oily as it usually would be. The Clarifying Mask did the trick. I have added this product to my skincare routine once per week and haven’t looked back since.

Unlike other sulfur-containing masks I have used in the past, the Clarifying Mask does not leave my face of hands smelling like sulfur until my next shower! That was a major plus for me as well.

I would recommend the Exposed Skincare line because it works for me. Exposed Skincare doesn’t have any fancy television advertisements or gimmicks. They are a brand about creating products that work for real people, not paid actors.
